$35.00A quick and easy way to prohibit the crankshaft from turning when needing to either loosen or tighten the balancer bolt-on popular Ford® engines, or it can be used to turn the engine when doing timing work. The studs of the tool go into the open spans of the harmonic balancer to apply force against them, while a 1/2″ drive ratchet or breaker bar is inserted into the knockout hole of the face plate for leverage. The open faceplate allows a socket to be applied to the retaining bolt of the balancer. While holding the balancer in place, the bolt can be loosened or tightened without the crankshaft turning with it. This tool can also be utilized to turn the engine when a procedure requires alignment of timing marks.

This Tool is used to extract the broken porcelain or seized sleeves from broken spark plugs in 2003 to current Ford® Triton Engines. Unlike other tools that tell you to push the porcelain through the sleeve (Ford® says specifically not to do this), this tool adheres to the porcelain using a special perma-bond and then allows a user to extract the broken porcelain from the sleeve. In combination with the porcelain extractor, this combo tool also works to extract frozen and broken off spark plug sleeves for the same model Ford® Triton Engines. Specially machined guide works with extra long tap and extractor to make sure the job is done easily and quickly.
